Our guides are all what we like to call home-grown, meaning they were born and raised in the areas they work in. They don’t have to swat up on the region’s history and geography to lead our tours, they’ve lived it.

Our maximum group size is 12 (although it’s often smaller) which means our guides get to know you on an individual level. They’ll soon learn your likes, dislikes and abilities and they’ll be able to adapt accordingly for that personal touch. We always build free time into our itineraries so you’re free to explore as you choose. And if you need advice on how to spend that time, our guides are more than happy to make recommendations.
4) We travel responsibly
Sustainability is baked into our itineraries like a hearty burek, from where we choose to run our holidays to how we spend our money there. We choose lesser-known destinations not only because they make your trip all the more awesome, but because it benefits the people and places often overlooked by visitors. This means we’re not contributing to overtourism and, with our Leave No Trace ethos, we protect the environment.

We’re a UK registered travel company with more than 15 years of experience in the Balkans, so you can rest assured your holiday will always run safely and smoothly with us. We only work with registered businesses in each country and we’re members of the Adventure Travel Trade Association, we have full liability insurance up to £5 million and we protect all advance payments by placing them in a client monies account until your holiday happens. We only use the best guides who are all experienced, personable, knowledgeable and most importantly, qualified. All of the outdoor equipment we use – from our canoes to our vehicles – are regularly checked for safety.
