Bulgaria holidays in the mountains!

Bulgaria is an intriguing country rich in history and culture. While Eastern Orthodox Christianity is the dominant religion, Bulgaria boasts a diverse tapestry of cultures and beliefs, evident in its cities where historic churches coexist with colorful mosques. Renowned for its picturesque landscapes, including the striking Rila Monastery and the vibrant city of Plovdiv, Bulgaria offers much more than meets the eye.

Once you’ve explored some of Bulgaria’s top attractions, venture into the stunning Balkan Mountains, where an array of adventures awaits. Picture yourself hiking through breathtaking valleys, experiencing thrilling ski slopes in winter, and discovering crystal-clear lakes perfect for swimming and kayaking in the warmer months.

Like many regions in the Balkans, Bulgaria’s natural landscapes remain largely untouched by mass tourism, providing a genuine escape into nature. As a company committed to responsible travel, we strive to preserve the pristine beauty of this land. You can learn more about our sustainable practices here.

At the end of an exciting day, indulge in hearty Bulgarian cuisine, featuring dishes like banitsa (savoury pastry filled with cheese and eggs) and kavarma (a slow-cooked meat and vegetable stew). No trip to Bulgaria would be complete without sampling the local yogurt and the famous shopska salad; our knowledgeable guides will show you where to enjoy an authentic meal like a true local.

Whether you’re travelling with family, a partner, or on your own, we invite you to fully experience Bulgaria!
