Thanks to Alfie we had an amazing time in the stunning Accursed Mountains in northern Albania - Alfie made sure the whole trip was seamless for us and we talked and discovered so much that we wouldn’t have on our own. Highly recommended!

My mate and I recently enjoyed a terrific time kayaking down Skadar Lake and into the Adriatic Sea. Lead by the awesome Mio, no request was too much for him as we kayaked our way through this beautiful Montenegro waterway. Our nightly campsites along the shore were perfectly located and always welcome. Mio and support Ivan also made sure our taste buds were well satisfied along the way – the food was delicious. The Source to Sea 6 days kayaking trip is amazing. It is very well planned giving a sense of a journey through the picturesque scenery of rivers and Skadar lake all the way to the Adriatic. We enjoyed very good weather (although a bit hot) which made long distances of daily paddling quite easy and allowed us to admire the beautiful nature and to have frequent breaks for refreshing swims. Our guides Mio and Ivan were brilliant in organising every day of the tour and accommodating our many needs and wishes so everything was running safely and smoothly. I enjoyed a visit to the monastery on an island and the evening at Shkoder, both great opportunities to learn more about the history and culture as Mio and Ivan willingly shared their knowledge about the region. The food was divine and we were looking forward to every meal. I went for a few kayaking expeditions before and I very much recommend this trip as it is a wonderful experience however it may be quite physically demanding. Montenegro seems to be an absolute gem for its natural beauty and rich history.

What a memorable holiday . Art, wild swimming , wild life , amazing food, boat trips, sea swim .hikes, wine tasting . Stunning scenery. Such a lot of fun and Karen a great tutor. Elaine produced delicious food every breakfast and evening . Ali and javi so organised and the volunteers mucking in . Not sure how we packed so much in ! A truly amazing trip .

Just back from an amazing art retreat in beautiful Montenegro. I had the best week! So much more than an art retreat! Exercise, wild swimming , wine tasting, incredible sight seeing and of course art. Everything was so enjoyable! Villa Miela was wonderful! The food was fresh and tasty and perfectly planned. The hosts were so efficient, friendly and accommodating - would definitely recommend this type of holiday and this accommodation. Sad to be home. Montenegro is a dramatic stunning country.

I have just returned from the painting and wild swimming trip tutored by Karen Pearson and hosted by the lovely Jave and Ale who were all so friendly and fun to be with,. its was a brilliant week in beautiful mountainous country near Lake Skadar. We had plenty of wild swimming opportunities in the warm Lake and the cooler mountain pools formed by lovely waterfalls. Karen is a very experienced tutor and had a wealth of expertise to help you get the most from your trip. We took varied excursions daily and had a comfortable Villa with pool and a nice view as our base. The daily fresh food cooked by chef Elaine was delicious and Elaine was such a great character, always cheerful and full of stories. the whole team worked really hard and went the extra mile to make a pleasant trip an exceptional trip. I would highly recommend it.

Vera is a very professional and nice hiking guide who showed us some of the most beautiful mountains. Recommend!
