North Albania trip - If I could give this trip more than 5 stars I would. A wonderful visit to a beautiful and fascinating country. We had a fantastic time, thanks in large part to our excellent guide Alfie, whose knowledge of and passion for his country was such a bonus. We noticed how all the places we stayed/ate in were owned by locals, so we felt that we were genuinely feeding in to the local economy (hopefully!). It was an especial privilege to be able to do the Theth to Valbona hike. The best views I have earned with my own two feet!

We’re a family of 5 visiting Montenegro for the first time and this was a week we won’t forget. The tour is perfect for families with the activities proving challenging but manageable for all and the locations at Virpazar, Zabljak and Camp Grab all spectacular in their own way. The food provided by all hosts and restaurants was of excellent quality and the standard of the guides used for the specific activities was 10/10. We could not have had a better guide and companion on this trip than Ana. She was knowledgeable and fun and showed great flexibility in terms of tweaks to the itinerary to accommodate our wishes. One small surprise for us was that our accommodation at Green Hills was 3k from Virpazar and couldn’t be walked safely after dark. It can be tricky enough to get a taxi so just check with Ben where you are being accommodated and make sure it works for you. Overall, we will have no hesitation recommending this tour to friends and family.

Undiscovered Balkans - 7 day Multi-Activity Holiday in SerbiaWe had the best time! Philomena and Alex are so knowledgeable about Serbia, its people, history and natural environment. The whole trip was really well organised, ensuring we were well looked after, whilst offering the flexibility to really enjoy ourselves. We saw and experienced a truly unspoilt side of Serbia for which we felt very privileged. The Serbian people we met and spent time with on the trip were extremely hospitable. All of the activities were a lot of fun. We will miss Serbia but hopefully we will get chance to visit again sometime in the future.

We enjoyed four organised days out with the other residents of the villa, and two free days when we were able to explore Lake Skadar ourselves. Activities included hiking, kayaking, cycling and multiple opportunities for wild swimming. We were able to eat out in the local village on some evenings, and also cook for ourselves in the very well equipped kitchen in the villa. The pool and yoga terrace had the most beautiful views across the mountains. A wonderful family holiday 🙂

Thank you so much for everything this last week. We had an amazing time. We loved the mountain hikes, the cycle, the swimming, the extraordinary Mrizi i zanave restaurant, the mask museum, the photography museum and learning about Albania's culture, history and nature. Aurora was such an excellent host.

This was a fabulous and well organised holiday across 3 locations in Albania. We swam, walked, paddle boarded and river hiked through some breathtaking scenery with our incredible guide for the week - Alfi. We learnt so much about the history of the country from Alfi during our week, leaving us all wanting to read more on our return. I remember one day in particular after a hot walk up to the incredible 'Blue Eye' pool we returned to the nearby village of Theth where we sat in the shade of a tree by the church and learnt all about the local blood feuds. Fascinating ! Since my return to the UK I have been recommending this holiday and Undiscovered Balkans to all my friends and family.
