We can put together bespoke packages of all kinds for families, friends and groups with special interests. Hiking, paddling, multi-activity – you name it, we can put it together for you.

For example, you might pick canyoning and kayaking from the Super Active Montenegro week but fancy adding pack-rafting on the Tara river into the mix for a few days. Alternatively, you might want to do 4-5 nights hiking up in the mountains and have a couple of slower days for wild swimming or coastal downtime. Countries, activities, accommodation levels and travel pace can all be tuned using the examples on our website, while still keeping the “off the beaten path” ethos and environmental give-back that runs through our whole company.

Are tailor-made trips more expensive than the standard itineraries? Not necessarily. If you want an accommodation upgrade, or want a private trip for fewer than 4px (our usual minimum group size), then yes, you would expect to pay a per-person premium for that. On the other hand, if you have a larger group of 8-16px and don’t mind dorm-style room sharing, you may find even a customised itinerary can work out cheaper.

Do you charge a fee for a tailor-made trip quotation? No, we don’t. We’re confident that 25 years of Balkan knowledge will allow us to swiftly put together pretty much any tailored request. Ask away!

What’s the minimum length for tailor-made trips? 4 days, 3 nights. NB, we don’t offer day trips.

Do you offer self-guided itineraries at all? No, sorry! All offers are fully guided.

Can you just book us accommodation? No, sorry! The likes of Booking.com and Airbnb are much better at that than us.

We’re looking for some elements we can’t find on your website. Can you help with that? Yes, we can! We can’t always fit more specialised or niche elements into our standard group itineraries, but if you’re going for a tailor-made trip, we can arrange pretty much anything you like. Ski trekking, stand up paddle boarding on the coast, scuba diving, pack-rafting, rock-climbing, para-gliding, boat and sailing tours, horse-riding and more – just ask us to include your favourites!

				Multi-sport We had a fabulous holiday in beautiful Montenegro .  We did so many fun activities (enjoyed by us adults and all the kids aged 10 - 17) and it was incredibly relaxing.  We completely lucked out with Ozzy our guide - he was utterly brilliant and made the holiday for us.

				GGSW Montenegro 2025 - life changing Wow wow WOW. From even before we met Ana, she was amazing. Every moment of our trip was well organised, but fun. We packed so much into our week, but at no point did we feel rushed or that we couldn’t enjoy everything. Ana was full of gems, whether that was information about Montenegro, or just comedic one liners! I had no concerns at any point about anything - each activity was safe but fun, and everyone we interacted with was lovely. Montenegro as a country is beautiful, and I would go back and back again. As a Girlguiding trip there are rules we have to follow, but Undiscovered Montenegro worked with us to ensure the girls and our safety was their top priority. Flexibility was available where needed (teenage girls and food, need I say more) but new experiences were still had all round. I cannot thank Ana enough, and a massive thank you to Ben as well for keeping in contact the entire time if we had any other questions. I recommend Undiscovered Montenegro to everyone, and will be singing their praises for years to come!

				Girlguiding Surrey West group trip What an amazing part of the world! Thank you so much to our wonderful tour guide Ana for sharing it with us. As a group of 16 teenagers (aged 12 to 17) and 4 leaders we all had our own highlights, but as a snapshot from our 8 day adventure our thoughts are: Canyoning at Stari Bar - wow! What a way to start the adventure!. The canyoning team were fantastic; patient and kind but also encouraging the girls to really push themselves. Hiking - it was a hot day, but the spot to cool off was hugely appreciated by all, the views as we climbed were outstanding, and the lunch at the host house was incredible!Kayaking - another highlight of the team's. The Zeta River was beautiful, the length of kayak trip was perfect and the swimming spots were literally "spot on". All the other activities were fantastic, and Ana briefed us ahead of each day so we knew what to expect. Ana was a truly fantastic tour guide and was incredibly easy to chat to about anything and everything. Her knowledge of local history, quirky information and ability (and willingness) to adapt activities for our group was so hugely appreciated. This was the first international trip for many of the Girl Guides and they have gone home with the travel bug, wanting to explore other undiscovered parts of Europe. So thank you to Ben, Ana and the team for a truly unforgettable trip.

				North Albania 7day Activity Holiday July 2025 Well where to start & what to say: SIMPLY AMAZING! 🤩 

BEN @ Undiscovered Balkans (UB) handled our booking so well & our Guide ALFIE was a legend 💫 👏

We had so much fun, enjoyed stunning nature & outdoor activities we wouldn’t normally do such as ; Wild river swimming, epic hiking trails (Theth to Valbona) & SUP (paddle boarding) on lake Shkodar & rivers.

The accommodation, personally selected by Ben / Emma of UB was amazing, so varied, the cuisine was a delight & the hospitality & warmth from local people was wonderful.

We learnt such a lot about history, culture & nature in this hidden gem in the Balkans 🇦🇱.

Will definitely be returning & can’t wait for our next adventure with UB 🤩
